Feature · Emergencies
One tap for help, in a difficult moment.
When your child sends an SOS you receive the alert together with the most recent location that can be shared.
Short answer: when your child taps the SOS button, every parent in the family receives an immediate alert containing the most recent location that can be shared at that moment. The alert stays open until you resolve it. FamSinyal is not an emergency service and does not contact the authorities on your behalf.
Important: FamSinyal is not an emergency service and does not replace your local emergency number. In an emergency, call your local emergency number first. FamSinyal's role is to let you know, and to show the last reported location.
How it works
Your child sends an SOS
They tap the SOS button in the app.
The alert arrives
Every parent in the family receives a high-priority notification.
The location appears
The most recent shareable location is shown with the alert.
A record remains
The alert stays open until a parent marks it resolved, so it cannot be lost in a busy notification list.

What we deliberately do not promise
- SOS does not work without an internet connection — the alert has to be delivered somehow, and we will not pretend otherwise.
- FamSinyal does not call the police or an ambulance for you and is not connected to any emergency service.
- An SOS carries the most recent location that can be shared; if the phone has no fresh fix, it carries the last known one with its timestamp.
What if my child's phone has no internet?
The SOS cannot be delivered until the phone regains a connection. This is a real limit of any app-based alert and we state it plainly rather than implying offline coverage. For situations where a phone may have no signal, agree a physical plan with your child as well.
Does the SOS reach both parents?
Yes. Every parent account in the family receives the alert at the same time. There is no primary parent who gets it first.
