The app is installed on both the parent's and the child's phone. It is the same app; the role is chosen during setup.
1. On your own phone
Create your account with the parent role and get your one-time pairing code.
2. On your child's phone
Install the same app, select “this is my child's device” and enter the code.
3. Grant permissions together
Location and notification permissions are requested visibly on the child's phone, and the screen states what is shared.
